Subject: Concern about Dengue Outbreak in Dhaka
I hope you're doing well. I've heard that there's a serious dengue outbreak in Dhaka right now. They're saying it's worse than previous years. I really hope everything's okay with you. Your health is on my mind.
I just wanted to remind you to be careful and take steps to protect yourself from mosquitoes. Make sure there's no standing water in containers around your home, like plant pots. A certain type of mosquito, called Aedes, lays eggs in clean standing water, and they can survive for more than 3 days. Using mosquito nets while sleeping and using mosquito repellents that you can buy in stores will also help. Be especially cautious during the mornings and evenings, as these are the times when Aedes mosquitoes are active. Please do your best to stay safe.
If, despite all precautions, you still get sick, make sure to seek medical help as soon as possible. Your health is a priority.
I'll get in touch with you again soon. If you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and stay healthy.
Stay in touch.
